Welcome to SayIt Translator. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SayIt Translator application (the "App") and form an agreement with its developer ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you accept these Terms. Please discontinue use if you disagree.
1. Our Services
SayIt Translator provides language tools that may include:
- Text translation;
- Voice and conversation translation;
- Text recognition and translation from camera captures or selected photos;
- Pronunciation playback;
- Translation history; and
- Copying and sharing translation results.
Available features and languages may differ by device, operating system, region, and app version. Online features require an internet connection.
2. License to Use
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, lawful use of the App, not ownership. Copying, modifying, reverse engineering, redistributing, selling, renting, or otherwise misusing the App is prohibited unless applicable law permits it.
3. Acceptable Use
Do not use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activities, including creating or sharing deceptive content, phishing, distributing malware or harmful links, infringing privacy or intellectual property rights, or accessing devices, systems, or accounts without authorization.
You are responsible for the material you submit, translate, or share and for obtaining the necessary rights and permissions. Before using voice or conversation translation with others, inform them that their speech will be captured and processed, and obtain any permission required by law.
4. Translation and Third-Party Content
Texts, photos, speech, and links submitted for translation may contain material from other people or organizations. Translating that material does not verify or endorse its accuracy, safety, legality, or availability.
Exercise care before following unfamiliar links, downloading files, disclosing personal information, or interacting with external websites. Independently operated websites, applications, advertisers, and services have their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Advertising and Third-Party Services
The App may display advertisements and use advertising, analytics, attribution, and technology services, including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Meta, AppLovin, and other advertising or technology partners, depending on the integration.
These services may process device, advertising, usage, diagnostic, and technical information under their respective policies. Translation, recognition, and speech playback may also rely on service providers. Our Privacy Policy explains the relevant processing and privacy choices.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how translation content, history, permissions, and advertising-related information are handled.
Depending on the feature, text, images, audio, and recognized content may be processed on your device or through online services. History may be stored locally; deleting local records does not necessarily delete information previously sent to an online service.
Camera, photo library, microphone, and speech recognition access support the features you select and can be managed in device settings. Required consent for advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party processing is separate from accepting these Terms.
7. Disclaimer
Automated translation, speech recognition, and image text recognition can produce errors or omit context. We do not promise recognition of every input, complete accuracy of results, uninterrupted operation, safe third-party links, or continuous availability of external services and advertisements.
Verify important translations before relying on or sharing them. The App is not a certified translation or professional interpreting service. Do not rely on it alone for medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other high-risk decisions.
To the extent legally permitted, we disclaim responsibility for losses arising from independently provided content, websites, advertisements, or services. This does not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Intellectual Property
Rights in the App's software, interface, graphics, branding, and other original materials remain with us or our licensors. Permission to use the App does not transfer those rights. You retain your existing rights in the content you submit.
9. Changes and Termination
We may reasonably change, suspend, or discontinue features and revise these Terms. Updated Terms will show a revised Effective Date, with additional notice where legally required. You may end your use at any time by uninstalling the App.
